Under the campaign #PrivacyHumSabKe (Privacy for all), different aspects of data protection polices and laws in Pakistan were reviewed.
In the series Privacy-in-Law, we looked at some of the regulatory frameworks governing data privacy and protection laws in Pakistan, and where they lack. This was to give people awareness about the vulnerability of their data, and why laws on data protection often cause the data breaches and leaks, simply because authorities and agencies are given the power of surveillance, and collection of citizens’ private data.
